Extra Curricular & Clubs
Extra-Curricular Activities
At our school, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. We are proud to offer a wide range of exciting extra-curricular activities that enrich our students’ experiences and support their personal growth. Although, after school clubs do not get the take up to run due to transport issues.
Throughout the year, we host School DISCOs, charity events, volunteering opportunities, and work experience placements for our older student. These activities give our students the chance to build confidence, develop life skills, and engage with the wider community.
We also celebrate creativity, sports, and enterprise with dedicated Art Week, Sports Week, and Enterprise Week, where students can showcase their talents, try new activities, and develop valuable teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Beyond our school grounds, we actively encourage curriculum visits, recognizing the importance of hands-on learning. These trips provide real-world experiences that bring classroom learning to life, helping students make meaningful connections to the world around them.
We are also thrilled to be part of The Sea in Our School—a fantastic Plymouth-based project that highlights both the wonders and challenges of our local marine environment. Living by the sea, we know how vital it is for our students to learn about the beauty and importance of our oceans, as well as how to stay safe near water. For more details on this exciting initiative, please explore the information in the drop-down menu.
We are also incredibly proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh Award, where our young people gain unforgettable experiences, develop resilience, and achieve personal goals in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Our extra-curricular activities are designed to empower our students, broaden their horizons, and ensure they leave school with not just academic achievements but also the confidence and skills to thrive in the wider world.
